New Movie! - Soda Curls

Rebecca makes a visit to the stylist. She's looking for a curly style but she does not want a permanent wave. The stylist has the perfect temporary solution. She starts wrapping Rebecca's hair and uses a can of soda instead of a perm weaving lotion. To help change the wave pattern with heat, Rebecca relaxes for a while under the hooded dryer. Finally the stylist begins removing each perm rod to uncover a head full of freshly thick curls.

Diana's Cut and Curls

Diana has been invited as a bridesmaid to her best friend's wedding. She's been thinking about sporting a head full of tight, small sausage curls instead of the traditional and more romantic curly updo. The hairstylist sprays water and begins cutting Diana's under the shoulders length hair. After she has trimmed Diana's hair, she starts the wrapping process with perm rods. Later, after Diana's head is completely covered by small perm rods she sits under the hooded dryer. The stylist removes all the curlers and starts to style each curl with a rat tail comb. Finally, the stylist creates golden highlights on each curl with a small hair color brush.

Straw Curls

Gaby is back again at her friend's home salon. She wants to have a very tight curly style to enhance her already fading perm curls. The stylist begins cutting Gaby's hair and then performs a multicolor straw set to create small ringlets. Once she finishes wrapping individual sections of hair around the straw, using end paper, she guides Gaby to the hooded hair dryer. After a relaxing hair drying session, the hairdresser starts releasing each curl by carefully unwinding the straw rollers from the hair. The final style is a tight curly pattern that makes Gaby happy and sexy again.

Afro Style

Relive the 70's with this fashionable movie featuring Ana, our tall and beautiful model. Ana has slight wavy hair, not the ideal or easiest type of hair to achieve the perfect Afro. However, she wanted to look super sexy with a totally new curly style. Ana decides to go with a more modern loose afro style look. In order to achieve this style the hairdresser trims Ana's hair to create some shape and then wraps her hair with more than 50 small perm curlers. After a short period under the hair dryer the stylist removes all the perm rods and begins to tease hair to create a big curly round frizzy halo over her head.

Big Curly Hair

Jessica visits the stylist looking for a complete change. She wants her long dark hair to look different but not quite sure how she wants it. The stylist tells her not to worry and that she will end up looking fabulous. Watch the stylist and her assistant wrap Jessica's hair with lots of small thin perm rods. Later, both the assistant and the stylist begin removing the curlers to reveal a huge curly mane. You can't miss Jessica's final style as the stylist keeps inflating her mane by teasing more and more hair to create a big mass of curls.

Angela's Transformation

This movie shows a radical hair makeover. Angela's dark long hair is shortened with a razor cut and then colored to an almost blond tone with cascading highlights. Finally, the stylist creates a fluffy layered bob using hair rollers and curling iron. This is totally an extreme transformation.

Gisele's Transformation

Gisele has been invited to her best friend's wedding and she's looking to wear an elegant curly updo for the special occasion. The beautician begins by combing Gisele's dark straight hair and applying styling gel with a rat tail comb to start placing all the hair rollers. Once she's finished with the roller set, the stylist begins the makeup session to accentuate Gisele's attractive face. After the makeup session, the hairdresser starts blow drying the model's hair, making sure the hair is completely dry and curled. The stylist removes all the hair rollers and begins to style Gisele's hair. The end result is truly a beautiful piece of hair styling.

Lily's Fresh Curls

We know our fans love freshly new curly perms so once again, we've decided to release another first ever perm movie. Lily has always worn her hair straight but now she's ready to take a big leap from straight to curly. This time the stylist decides to use boomerang perm rods to create a tight spiral looking curl. Lily just loves the end result with her head full of fresh wet curls.

Claudia's First Perm

Claudia is all excited and nervous about getting her first ever perm. She's looking to get a short curly hairdo so the stylist decides to give her a haircut first. You can really tell that she doesn't have a clue what she's getting into. She gets all surprised when the stylist begins to roll the first perm rod and tells her she's going to wrap the whole head. Later, the stylist begins to apply the perm solution and Claudia covers her nose from the strong odor. Watch the whole process step-by-step and experience Claudia’s novice reactions.

Karen's Transformation

Karen is a gorgeous young model and she's back again with a beautiful curly updo for a special occasion. In this movie, our master hairstylist uses a combination of small Velcro rollers and a flat iron to perform this beautiful curly hair style. Watch how the stylist winds, using small-size rollers, starting from the top middle section of the head leaving the bangs untouched to later create a wavy pattern. You can also enjoy Karen's make up session.

Raquel's Haircut

Raquel is a very attractive mature woman and she's ready for a new hair style to look even more attractive and younger. She visits the hair salon and tells the hairdresser she wants to get a shortcut and new hair color. The stylist begins her work by giving Raquel a shampoo. Later she sits on the styling chair to get a razor cut. After the shortcut the hairdresser starts the hair dying process. Raquel goes from a light brown to a dark chocolate color. Once again, the hairdresser takes Raquel to the shampoo bowl and washes her hair with lots of lather. As a final step, the stylist dries Raquel’s hair with a hand-held blow dryer and a barrel brush. After the finishing touches Raquel is thrilled to see her new short hair style.

Laura's Transformation

Laura is getting ready to attend a graduation party so she visits the stylist at her home salon. Laura tells the stylist that she's looking for a simple but formal updo to get a perfect graduation look. The hairdresser begins by wrapping Laura's head with large magnetic rollers. She performs the roller set by using a rat tail comb and styling gel. Once the hair is dry after the makeup session, the hairdresser removes the rollers unveiling big soft and sexy curls. Later she starts brushing Laura's hair to smooth out the curls and to pull them back into a high-tail ponytail. Once the ponytail is in place she positions all the curls and pins any loose strands in place. The finish style is a fabulous updo with curls that are carefully sculpted and pinned close to the head to give a sleek but elegant look.

Ruby Red

Ruby decides to leave behind the tired, tried and true and go for something with more flare. She's been deep dark black hair all of her life so she visits the hairdresser and expresses her desire to go red. The stylist not only agrees but she'll also have to do some haircutting to shape up the new style. The hairdresser starts by bleaching Ruby's hair and wrapping it with aluminum foils. After rinsing out the bleach, the hairdresser applies the red tint. Finally, the stylist begins to cut Ruby's hair with razor and scissors.

Gaby's Perm

Gaby makes an appointment with her hairdresser and requests a haircut and perm. The hairdresser suggests just a slight trim but Gaby, whose hair is below shoulder length, tells the stylist she really wants it above the shoulders so she can have a short curly perm. Mary's Transformation

Mary was tired of her boring straight hair and washed out face look. When we approached her with the idea of getting a sexy curly style and makeup session, for her very first time, she was pretty excited about the idea. After the stylist completed her transformation process everybody was completely astonished of how beautiful and sexy she looked. You too can experience, step-by-step, this amazing transformation. Watch how Mary gets her hair shampooed and minutes later her hair is blown with a hand-held salon hair dryer. After this, the stylist proceeds to start winding her with small rods. Once her head is completely wrapped with rods, she's ready to sit under the hooded dryer. You can really start to see how her beauty begins to arise during the makeup session. Brenda's Transformation

First, Brenda's hair is washed and hand dried to remove excess moisture, then her long beautiful black hair gets a set with jumbo red magnetic rollers using styling gel a rat tail comb and lots of bobby pins to hold them tightly. After the stylist finishes winding the last roller on Brenda's hair, she walks straight to the hooded dryer and sits comfortably while reading a magazine. Long Hair Perm

Connie, who also happens to be a hairstylist, wanted to have a hair makeover. She was really looking to have a tight and curly perm, so we granted her wishes and our master stylist created an awesome long curly perm style for her. You can watch Connie's long hair get a relaxing shampoo and how it's carefully wrapped with more than 80 perm rods. Immediately after her hair is bath with the perm solution it gets completely covered with plastic wrap. You can also enjoy a makeup session as Connie gets transformed into a very lovely lady. Again, at the shampoo bowl, watch close-up shots of the solution been rinsed out and how the stylist applies the foam perm with a sponge. Once all the perm rods are removed, Connie walks away from the shampoo chair straight to the mirror and admires her fresh curly look. This is truly an enjoyable movie for perm lovers.

Double Transformation

We continue with our transformation series. This week, we bring you the whole salon experience with two models and two beautiful hairstyles – The curly crop and a softly teen wave style – from the late 60's. Dorothy's Transformation

HairCinema kicks off the New Year with a transformation series. Every week, a new movie will be released featuring different hairstyles showing before and after transformation scenes. Our first movie features a model being styled with a classic chignon, adorned on each side and bottom with intertwined curls. The stylist begins the session with a hair wash, followed by drying and combing the model's hair to get it ready for a wet set with green jumbo perm rollers. After the model's hair has been nicely set with hair rollers, the stylist begins to beautify the model's youth with a makeup session. Later, the stylist removes the rollers and starts to create the updo style using rubber hand bands, bobby pins and misting curls with hairspray.

She wants to look sexy and attractive but has never had a cut or style in her life. She likes curly hair and decides to get her very first wave perm plus a haircut and makeup session. Experience her excitement and nervousness through the entire movie as she awaits her new look. This movie is 80 minutes long.

Going Short

By popular demand we have decided to produce our very first haircut movie. So here it is! One of our models was brave enough to chop her shoulder-length hair and go short. As an intro, watch behind-the-scenes footage of the model's makeup session. Then, watch the model sitting on the chair get covered by a nice red salon cape. After that, the stylist starts spraying the head with a water bottle. The stylist, armed with a comb and large scissors begins the task. Later, a razor comb is use to start molding the style. Finally, the stylist uses a flat iron to give it a straighter and trendy short hairstyle look.

Curly Pigtails

The model's hair is parted along the centerline of the scalp to gather each section. Each side of the head, above the ear, is brushed and neatly tied with a rubber band allowing the tails to hang free and ready to be curled. The stylist begins picking sections of hair at random and misting them with hairspray. Later, the stylist and her assistant begin to unwind the perm rods revealing two gorgeous hair buns full of small and tight corkscrew curls.

Adorable Ringlets

A gorgeous model and a perfect twisted winding technique are the two main ingredients for this great hair movie. First, our model's beautiful long black hair is sectioned and sprayed with setting lotion. After that, the hairstylist begins her ritual of setting each roller to form a nice descending pattern. Finally, the model walks toward the vintage dryer and sits under it. Later, when hair is completely dried and curled the rollers are carefully removed to reveal a stunning mane with lots of dense ringlet curls. The model's finished look of shiny tight ringlet curls is just adorable.
